From the World Premiere of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" to our most successful Nutcracker ever, 2008 was a great year for Momentum Dance Company. 2009 promises to be even better as Momentum Dance Company continues it's fifth season. March brought another great 'Selections for Spring'. This year's installment of Momentum's spring show brought together a repertoire program including dancers from Momentum, the Texas Ballet Theater, Loris Anthony Beckles, and the salsa dancing of Rumba Y Fuego. It also premiered Momentum Artistic Director Jacquelyn Ralls Forcher's original choreography of Carmina Burana, the classic opera written by Carl Orff. MDC's delightful "Nutcracker" will return for it's fifth year in late November. As the company continues to thrive, we invite you to become a part of Irving's only Ballet Company.
